Multiple Caps

Black Color

From the looks of the colorpreview pictures it seems that the Mann Co. Cap always keeps a dominant touch of its natural color. So coloring it black seems to change the color to some kind of grey, instead of making it black, or at least way darker. Can anyone confirm this? It would be awesome if you could really color it black and not just greyish. -- Wargod 02:30, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

The painted variants images here on the Wiki are generated using the exact same method (and binaries) as in TF2, so I can confirm it's some kind of grey. -RJ 02:35, 29 October 2010 (UTC)

Still Availible?

I've heard rumblings that new accounts making purchases no longer get the Mann Co cap (as of the Manniversary). Is there any truth to this?
