Availability?

It looks like this hat is not available at the time, because no one has it... Can someone confirm it can be unboxed? Natha 11:24, 17 December 2011 (PST)

Ebenezer Scrooge

I do believe that this hat is the hat that Ebenezer Scrooge wears in the "Christmas Carol" and i was wondering if we should add it to the trivia because of this hats name. But it may be to obvious... so i don't know. --CaptainSneaky 13:17, 16 December 2011 (PST)

It's so obvious that it's been put in the first paragraph, not the trivia section. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 14:46, 16 December 2011 (PST)

Trivia?

The following : "The Ebenezer was originally known as the "Culturally Indifferent Hat of Winter Joy" when it was contributed to the Steam Workshop, but the name was changed by Valve before implementation into the game. "

Is currently located in the first paragraph, but I think it should be moved to the trivia section as it isn't a description of the hat. As this page currently doesn't have a trivia section implemented, it would be beneficial to start one.

Information on the hat's original name is always in the first section, not trivia. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 04:43, 20 December 2011 (PST)

Description?

The description of this hat and the Holiday Headcase mention the creators, no other item in the update, as well as no other contributed items have done this. Anyone have any reason why? Also, despite these being community created, why weren't they updated to be crafted and bought? Citizen_Lame 12:38, 24 December 2011 (PST)

The Holiday Headcase is similar in this respect. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 16:28, 24 December 2011 (PST)
Someone over at B.M.O.C discussion says these hats are available through the Steam Gift Pile holiday achievements which is quite a sensible thought, i think, and he/she also has potential proof. I guess the unique nature of obtaining these hats Valve gave the go ahead for the creators to put their name down in TF2 history? I don't know, I guess we could ask them!
