황동의 야수는 헤비의 주무기 입니다. 황금색에 가까운 황동으로 만들어진 "1865년식 개틀링 기관총"과 비슷하게 생겼습니다. Gatling gun '리차드 J. 개틀링'이 제작한 기관총
이 무기는Minigun보다 20% 더 많은 데미지를 줄 수 있으나, 총열 회전가속 속도와 회전시 이동속도 모두 미니건보다 느리므로 지역방어 및 다가오는 적을 상대하기에는 좋고, 추격 및 도망가는 적을 상대할 때에는 불리하다고 볼 수 있습니다.

- Because of the placement of the chain and ammo drum, the Brass Beast will clip through the Heavy's left hand and right arm when taunting and spinning up and down.
- Don't Touch Sandvich, an Achievement involving Natascha, can be unlocked using the Brass Beast.
- There is a rare instance where the barrel will not rotate while spinning with secondary fire.
- During deployment, the sound of the weapon will pause for a brief second before resuming at a louder volume.
상식
- 황동의 야수를 비롯한 모든 헤비의 미니건(미니건, 나타샤, 철의 장막)은 모두 같은 1인칭 애니메이션을 사용합니다. 가장 처음 이 애니메이션을 사용한 무기는 미니건이므로, 이후 나온 미니건은 애니메이션이 약간 부자연스러울 수 있습니다.
