澳大利亚圣诞节（Australian Christmas）是《军团要塞2》的一次重大更新，发布于2010年12月17日补丁。该次更新后来成为了一年一度的“Smissmas”（圣诞节）活动的首次活动。

此更新发布一个新游戏模式——中世纪模式，以及该模式下的一张新地图DeGroot Keep。

此次更新还将默认背包的槽位从 200 个扩大至 300 个，并且可以通过购买并使用背包扩充工具来获得额外的槽位（1 次 100 个）。背包的扩充上限变为 1000 个槽位。

活动内容也包括了新增加的欢冬补给箱。可以使用欢冬补给箱钥匙将其开启，欢冬补给箱钥匙只能在曼恩公司商店中购买，每个价格为 2.49 美元。

此更新此次更新还首次引入了地图Itemtest。

起源

1788年12月18日，在第一批移民定居澳大利亚不到一年后，一个名叫尼古拉斯·克劳德（Nicolas Crowder）的老杀手和其他一些新人移民一起乘坐一艘船来到这里，他看着眼前的炎热和荒凉，骂了句“去他丫的”（screw this），便征用了这艘船，开始了独自一人征服南极的航程。传说他仍然活着并居住在那里。

每年12月18日，“老尼克”（Old Nick）都会回到澳大利亚，看看澳大利亚的孩子们是乖巧听话还是调皮捣蛋。乖孩子会获得世上最棒的礼物——而不会像那些淘气鬼一样被他绑架到南极去。

在接下来的 12 个月里，那些淘气的孩子都得在“老尼克”的严厉监管下制作玩具。然后在12月17日那天，这些礼物会被包装好，然后用雪橇拉到“老尼克”的宅邸中，并在那里拆开那些礼物。当然，考虑到老尼克收到的成千上万的帽子和武器中肯定会有很多重复的，所以每年的12月18日，他都会把这些重复的武器发布在网上，并以超低的价格出售，便宜到和白送没什么区别。
