Huo-Long Bug

Heyo, Before this actually turns into an edit war why don't we just discuss it first.

First, The bug is a strange part issue, It does not involve the weapon on its own.

Secondly, The bug should be listed here Strange Part. Read the bugs that are currently listed. It would make more sense if it were to be placed there.

Third, Don't just simply undo the edit mainly cause "It belongs here". If you have an issue with the undo discuss it with the person. And lastly, Keep the discussion on one page. Ashes (talk) 13:03, 19 July 2013 (PDT)

Hey there, thanks for your reply.
To start, I'll need to learn myself some tf2wiki etiquette. I figured the explanation would suffice.
Next, I understand that this is a Strange Part issue, but it is a strange part issue that does affect this weapon directly. This weapon can achieve posthumous kills for the user two ways; through bullets and especially with the obnoxious ring of fire it spews out. Since there exists a Strange version and a Strange Part that counts posthumous kills I would assume this would be a popular strange part to attach to this item. Because of this, I felt that the information should be listed upfront on the Huo-Long Heater's page as well so people don't have to search for additional information on the item page they are already visiting - it's right there, up front. When you have a list of bugs and the issue is not listed, it might be assumed non-existent.
From past experiences on this site bugs like these have been listed. For example when the Strange Neon Annihilator was released it wasn't originally listed so I got one and a Sappers Attached part only to find out it wouldn't work (though slightly different because this was a bug not a strange block). A day or two later the page was edited to include this information (http://wiki.teamfortress.com/w/index.php?title=Neon_Annihilator&oldid=1316307) and when the bug fix was released that information was added too and now part of the gracious history of the item.
This bug should be on the Huo-Long Heaters page simply because it affects it. It's information and people should know about it - that's why they came to the site. I wanted to help people avoid the same mistake I made and get a Strange Huo-Long Heater and a Posthumous Kills Strange Part only to find out it wasn't compatible after already checking the tf2wiki and not seeing it listed under bugs. Heyo~, Anyawys the edit you mentioned regarding the neon annihilator and strange parts was more less a poor edit. As it should not belong directly on there. Similar to how some Strange parts can be applied/Can't be applied on certain items despite their restrictions/attributes. So overall it should really be placed on the Strange Parts page as its more of an error on the Strange Part Coding. Not the weapon itself. Ashes (talk) 13:39, 19 July 2013 (PDT)
It's information directly related Subb (talk) 13:41, 19 July 2013 (PDT)
So... should I need to give you the "directory" of the file that set about "which s.part can apply on which weapon" or somethings like that? User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 13:51, 19 July 2013 (PDT)
Also, Finish a discussion before you actually undo an edit. Seriously this is causing an edit war which we are trying to prevent. Thanks. Ashes (talk) 13:54, 19 July 2013 (PDT)
Meh I concede, it's directly related information and it's obvious I am not going to get anywhere while being attacked with double standards. Cheers.
