Hello

Hello, whilst we do allow custom avatars, your avatars are exact duplicates of the existing class badges, so can you please use those instead? If you feel that you can find a higher quality version of the class badges, for example, less aliasing, higher resolution etcetera, feel free to upload a new version of that file in question. Thanks Infi^ 17:19, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

I understood and agreed. I will put new files instead of those duplicates. --EpicEric 17:21, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Portuguese translation

Good day.

I saw that Blue Kleiner made the Portuguese and Brazillian translation of the Wiki, but most of the things are written in Brazilian way like "object". In European Portuguese, it's "objecto"; in Brazillian, "objeto". But errors like this keep going on and on and there are even parts which aren't translated. I would love to re-translate the Wiki to real Portuguese. I also updated the Portuguese translation of Pirates Vikings and Knights II (PVKII) like fixing grammar errors, bad phrase construction, etc.

JPRAS

Thank you.

Dear JPRAS,
You really aren't up-to-date about Portuguese, are you? In 2009, the Orthographic Reform (not sure if it's said like this in English) was officialized. Here, we try our best to follow it. It doesn't matter if you are from a place where this hasn't been officialized, because it was, and that's what we'll use in this Wiki.
Also, you can't claim that Brazilian Portuguese is a cheap immitation of European Portuguese. You're being disrespectful and prejudiceful with the Brazilian culture and history, which is against law, you know. Brazilian Portuguese is a very rich variation, and saying such a thing is a terrible offence.
If you want to contribute to the Wiki, do it. But please don't offend anyone because of differences. If you mean to adress something to Blue Kleiner, otherwise, do it in his talk page, please.
I hope you could understand me. --EpicEric 02:14, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
PS: I edited your message a little, without changing words or meanings. Just did it to make your sentences follow the grammar.

It was annouced 2009 but in schools and even the governament uses the "old way". The computer ortographical error detector and even the Google translator say that for e.x."objeto" is wrong. I live in Lisbon, capital of Portugal. I meant no disrespect to the the brazillians or Blue Keiner. I just think the site's translation to portuguese should be made by a portuguese and not a brazillian.

Best regards,

JPRAS.

P.S. I will still wait for a RE. I hope that i can contribute to the wiki.

Im putting an example of a text and how it should be translated to Portuguese and the brazllian words/maners in italic.

Current translation "Um cara com boa reputação, amável cidadão do Texas com jeito para todas as coisas mecânicas, o Engineer escolheu por construir e fazer a manutenção de construções que beneficiam o time sem entrar em combate muito direto"

Correct translation: "Um homem com boa reputação, amável cidadão do Texas com jeito para tudo quanto é mecânico, o Enginheiro (Engineer translated, i dont know if you want the character's names to be translated but would be better) escolheu por construir e fazer a manutenção de construções que benificiam a sua equipa sem entrar em combate directo."

As long as you follow any necessary rules, there's no reason why you can't contribute to the website. Also, some pages already existed in Portuguese before I joined this Wiki, like the classes. If you want, you can improve them.
Regarding the new Orthography, I'm going to consult a moderator as how to proceed with it. However, it's always good to have someone contributing to the website. Keep the good work! --EpicEric 13:44, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
PS: I think it's best not to translate names, except if you mention the original first.

Im already editing stuff, but I need acess to translate the golden wrench page.

2 Misc Slots

I already posted this in the discussion page. Anyway I dont know if anyone noticed, but since the Engineer update came off, there has been another misc slot "-Misc 2" to all classes. And no, there is no item to use it with (at least that I own). I tried to equip Soldier of Fortune with earbuds but there wasn't any item in the slot. I wonder if this has something to do with the Polycount Pack contest.

JPRAS

Sorry, but I think the best place to talk about this would be in the Steam Powered User Forums...
Also, I'm not a moderator, as you might think. You can ask real moderators like Pilk, Firestorm, etc. if you have any problems. ;)

I've added a note about it to the Miscellaneous items page. It doesn't appear that anything goes into it yet. --Firestorm User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 20:51, 13 July 2010 (UTC)

Yay! Thank you very much!

User Images

Hey there Eric! Would I be able to move all your images in your gallery to have the "User" prefix? I'm not sure if you've linked to them externally or not. --Firestorm 00:34, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

I don't understand what you mean, but I guess so.

2) Eu estou tentando pegar a Wiki Cap. :P
Quem não está? hehe. bom entendi e faz sentido... mas se lembre sempre assine o seu post com 4 "tios" assim ~ ~ ~ ~ (só que junto) Swordz 21:36, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
Eu vivo me esquecendo. XD EpicEric 21:39, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- Neo Player 09:10, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
Certo. Seguirei o teu conselho! ;) --EpicEric 15:57, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Updating your user page

You do not need to update your user page every time you make an edit. We can find your contributions to the Wiki here: Special:Contributions/EpicEric. -- Pilk (talk) 13:21, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry. --EpicEric 13:22, 13 November 2010 (UTC)

ola ,eu gostaria de perguntar se vc sabe ,se apenas editando (acertando ,pontos e etc ) ja conta para o wikicap ,pq eu estou acertando e construindo a grande maioria dos artigos do pt/br
