Hello and Welcome!

Info about me and how name came to be

Hello there, I go by the name VocaloidI2 or Vocal for short. I love using the wiki to help find out about items from the past and the now present items. Since TF2 is my favorite game right now, I thought it would be nice to help out the TF2 wiki and see what I can do to make it a better place for veterans and new players. The name "VocaloidI2" came from a psn (Playstation network) name I made a year or two ago. If you don't know, vocaloids is voice synthesizer program that can make a computer sing different notes on any high level. The "I2" in the my name was just added because psn said I need another letter. That is how my name came to be and I hope I can help the wiki as much as possible.

Tips on using a specific class and guides when playing TF2

1. Knowing your weapon, when to use it, and how to use it

Scout:The Scout's main weapon is the Scattergun (which is like the regular stock shotgun but re-skinned for the scout) . It has six shots loaded in already and the ammount of ammo it carries is thirty-two. The scout moves faster then all the other stock classes, but the scout has the lowest health out all of the other classes. So you use the scout's ability to pick of enemies one by one and be smart in your battles. Know when to push in or back off, simple right? From what I know about the scout, he is usually the "clean up guy". Meaning that the scout can take out classes that are weaken by your teammates, which resulting in kill for you. There are things I want to talk about, but I rather get to the other classes.

Soldier:The Soldier's main weapon of choice is the Rocket Launcher. It can hold up to 4 rockets and the amount of ammo you carry is 20 (I think don't quote me on this c: ). The Soldier is very mobile class because the use of it's rockets. I did state that the Scout is the fastest class, but there are two classes that can out run or move faster then the scout, the Soldier and the Demoman. Getting back on the Soldier topic, he is a little slower then most of the other classes, but his rocket launcher makes up for that. The soldier is really great at taking out key targets in the game, like medics, sentry nest, and other soldiers as well. As a warning when you do rocket jump you inflict damage onto yourself, so be careful when to rocket jump.

Pyro:The Pyro's main weapon of choice is the flamethrower. The amount of ammo it carries is two hundred, there is no need to reload it. The is very odd character, but he is a fun class to play as. The Pyro's movement speed is a bit faster then some classes, but not as fast as a Scout. You can use the alt-fire or right-click to do a compression blast, which can blast projectiles back at the enemy targets. It also extinguishes teammates who are on fire as well. It's a very good defensive weapon because you airblast away either rockets, sticky traps, grande launcher pills, or a group of the enemy team away from you. One thing that Pyro players should know is that Pryos are very good a spy checking. Once a spy touches your flames then he will lit on fire for everyone on the your team to kill. So always spy check around you and sentery nests. Also don't be running into to battle thinking that you will lite everyone on fire. The Pyro is "Squishy" like he can get killed easily since hes a close combat class, so pick your moments when you have to push in or fall back.

Demoman:The Demoman's main weapon is the grenade launcher. It can hold up to four grande pipes and the amount of ammo it can carry is sixteen (don't quote me on this either. I forget sometimes c: ).It's secondary is the sticky bomb launcher. It holds up to eight sticky bombs and the amount of ammo it carries is twenty-four (don't quote me on this too c: ). The Demoman is mobile, like the Soldier, because it can use it's stickys to launch himself forward an amazing speed. The Demoman is a very offensive and defensive class because of the weapons it has. The grenade launcher and sticky bomb launcher can help destroy big crowds of enemies or to take out sentrys in a matter of seconds. You can also set up sticky traps by shooting your sticky bombs on the edges of the walls and when enemies happen to pass by that wall "KABOOM!!" is what you say when u blow them up to many little pieces (Well that is what I say when i blow people up). When you get caught in a "sticky" situation, it is best to head back to the rest of your team and regroup. Make sure to leave a little surprise for the opposing team before leave, so that when they try to push you can kill them in an instant.

Heavy:The Heavy's mean weapon is the minigun. It can hold up to two hundred bullets and doesn't need a reload. The Heavy is one of the slowest classes in the game by far, making him a walking talking. He has the most Health out every class is very good push back enemy teams. When using Heavy, you have to be cautious of your surroundings because you are a primary target to take out. Heavys mostly get targeted by Spies, Snipers, Pyros, and Scouts, so you should as wells be aware of your surroundings. He is also perfect in taking out sentrys and big crowds of enemies, just like the Demoman. Mostly, Medics would always heal only Heavys and not other classes, depends on the player, so you have to protect your medic just in case any class tries to kill the Medic. If you and/or the Medic that is healing are taking too much damage, you should back of so that either the Heavy can get more ammo or the Medic can build Ubercharge, you don't your Medic to drop his' uber right?

Engineer:The Engineer's main weapon/tool of choice would be his Sentry Gun. It can be built by and only for the Engineer by using it's melee weapon, the wrench. It cost 130 metal to make one level one sentry. The sentry starts out as a level one, but the Engineer increase it's level up to level 3. The Engineer would need two hundred metal to increase his sentry by one level. He is more of a defensive class to where he can hold off some of the enemy from pushing forward and keep them back as long as he could until his teammates come in to defend him. Engineers are very useful when playing certain game modes. For example, when playing payload, the engineer can build a teleporter (which cost a hundred metal each to make)to get his team on the front faster then by walking. Another thing that Engineers should never forget to build is the dispenser. Any teammate near it would game health over time and re-fill its ammo, so stay close to your sentry and dispenser so that you could be safe from any harm. If your team is being pushed back on a payload map, don't go saving your sentry when the area is dangerous. Find a new spot and start building there so that you can set up a new defense.
