My theory is this: Someone's making a TF2-based marriage proposal. L4D2 and Portal 2 have been used in the past, with the one in Portal 2 having Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS and the Administrator making custom lines. We shall see. Sven 18:33, 19 December 2011 (PST)

What could this mean?

A diamond engagement ring...in TF2?! Either this is something REALLY big or some promo item for a dating sim that's coming to Steam or something. What do you think this means? Are Pyro and Engineer going to get married? Is one of the TF2 staff getting married? I have a feeling that this will end up being like the Top Notch, whereas this item is only being added so that someone can propose to their significant other. I wouldn't count on it being publicly available, and the fact that it's apparently gift-wrappable just adds to the obvious nature of this item being a single-purpose item for someone to use in a proposal. 404: User Not Found ^(talk) 18:34, 19 December 2011 (PST)

Translation: "I think this will be sold in the Mann Co. Store, and I have written a slightly incomprehensible blurb for it if it were to be done in this manner. However, this is not yet factual, and is simply my own expectations written out." No, this is not from the store, it's just a blurb "Limie Pie" thinks would fit the item. The page already says "crafting item" suggesting another editor already knows it will be craftable and therefore nothing to do with store bought? (At least not exclusively)
