I noted that under bugs it said "The "Fires a special bolt that can repair friendly buildings" attribute listed as on-wearer attribute." However, that is something it actually does. Is it not supposed to be listed as an attribute, not supposed to occur at all, or just an error on the person who added it to the bug list?

Is the Metal cost the same for all buildings?

While it makes sense for a Sentry to cost 130 metal to teleport, is this cost consistent for all buildings, such as Dispensers and Mini Sentries?

It's also worth checking out if the bolts can repair Mini Sentries. Bralef 08:42, 21 December 2012 (PST)

The Rescue grab Costs 130 metal regardless of building grabbed, It also cannot repair mini-sentry's. It can repair allied buildings and it only consumes ammo for the repair, not metal.--Nintyuk 08:47, 21 December 2012 (PST)

Just to help: If you want to move your nest (All your machinery) with a Rescue Ranger, you first want to collect at least 130 metal so that you can teleport buildings. Now, you want to teleport your dispenser so that you can collect the 130 metal again to teleport all your buildings to where you want. Rough Damage Values :NOT FOR MAIN PAGE:

The gun seems to have the shotguns damage fall off with a minimum of 18 damage at max range, at point blank it was doing around 55 damage but with most shots being around 35 damage.--Nintyuk 08:44, 21 December 2012 (PST)

Eureka Effect

I have yet to obtain the Rescue Ranger to test this myself, but does anyone know if the RRs ability works with the Eureka Effect equipped? Might be some notable information for both item pages. User M-NINJA Signature.png 10:49, 21 December 2012 (PST)

If you mean the hauling ability, then no, you can't rescue with the EE equipped. But you can still heal buildings. --Pakaku 17:18, 21 December 2012 (PST)

Monitor and bolts

It looks like the monitor (it's an oscilloscope, by the way) is supposed to tell the player if they have enough metal to 'rescue' their buildings. The wave is at its highest when the player has 200 metal, and gradually flattens out until they have less than 130 metal (and can't rescue). It also looks like the bolts the gun shoots can pin ragdolls to walls, like the Huntsman and Crusader's Crossbow. --Pakaku 17:20, 21 December 2012 (PST)

I believe these bolts can also be reflected. I was in a fight with an engineer that had one and got a reflect kill on him. It said it was a reflected arrow but then again, if it has the same properties of pinning people to walls, it would make sense as there was no one else around. Could someone test this as I am not currently in possession of one. Encouragement Pyro 19:40, 23 December 2012 (PST)
I can definitely confirm the bolts can be reflected. --Pakaku 17:54, 24 December 2012 (PST)
They can -definitely- be reflected. They even have a kill icon for it, which I uploaded: File:Killicon deflect rrbolt.png Thing is, I don't know how to get it into all the lists where it should be. Hopefully someone else can do this. --Bollythewolf 05:36, 28 December 2012 (PST)

Just a question: Are there models for the projectiles shot from the Rescue Ranger? Lud1colo 17:18, 28 December 2012 (PST)

Attack type.

Iv'e been wondering. It looks like it hits instantly, but I don't know if it's a hitscan or a projectile. Can someone tell me? The preceding unsigned comment was added by ValVe102 (talk) • (contribs)

Projectile. Similar to that of the crossbow and huntsman. Majority of hitscan weapons are bullet based. Ashes 21:07, 28 December 2012 (PST)
