La Latta di Vernice è un oggetto che permette di cambiare il colore dei cappelli. La Latta di Vernice è stata implementata con l'Aggiornamento Mann-Conomy con la Patch del 30 settembre 2010. Tutt'ora sono disponibili 27 differenti colori. Tutti le vernici sono disponibili attraverso il Negozio Mann Co., possono essere trovati aprendo una Cassa di Rifornimenti Mann Co., scambiati tra giocatori oppure semplicemente trovati.
A partire dalla Patch del 6 ottobre 2010, è possibile rimuovere la vernice applicata su un cappello, facendolo tornare al suo colore originale. Tuttavia la vernice non sarà recuperabile.
Esistono due tipologie di Latte di Vernice; a tinta unica o a seconda della propria squadra. Gli oggetti a tinta unica mantengono l'aspetto del colore nonostante la squadra d'appartenenza, la seconda tipologia invece contiene due varianti di colore a seconda che il giocatore stia nella squadra RED o BLU.
