Twitch is a live streaming platform, operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc.

The "live streams" button of the main menu opens a window in your default browser to the Team Fortress 2 section of Twitch. Most of the special community tournaments and events (TFConnect, LAN's, etc) are streamed in this platform.
