Rock 2 is a Capture the Flag map in the Team Fortress Classic series of games.

Objective

Steal the key-card from the enemy warden's office. Take it across to the other side of the enemy base and hit the switch to release the nerve gas. Don't bring the key-card back to your own base as it will not do anything. A lethal dose of the nerve gas is released approximately 12 seconds after capture.

Scoring

  • 15 points for each gas release.

Notes

  • To survive the gas, the player should get a protective suit (that uses the model from the HEV Suit from Half-Life) from behind the marked doors, or hide under the water.
  • The map had two detpackable areas that added a second and third route to the enemy base. Only the water entrance could be resealed by another Demoman.
  • In the game files, there exists unused Yellow and Green variants of the key-card.
