Don't know why and couldn't edit it but the bolgan hat is on heavys page and not all class

Gifs

I think it'd be a good idea to replace the current example screenshots with .gif's, simply because they can so much better demonstrate how these particle effects actually look like in-game. Alternatively, there could also be a YouTube demonstration video, in a similar manner as weapons, but that's just an idea. - Selbi 15:38, 26 October 2011 (PDT)

Pictogram plus.png Support I've been wondering for a while why there weren't any videos or animations demonstrating this. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 17:20, 26 October 2011 (PDT)
Pictogram minus.png Oppose No, gifs are horrible. They waste bandwidth, look ugly, make the page sluggish and distracting. A video would be a better solution, but overkill in this case. ~ Ath (talk) 17:52, 26 October 2011 (PDT)
Well maybe have video links next to each effect (instead of having the video viewable on the page), or just one video demonstrating all of them? » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 02:30, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
That was my idea, one video to demonstrate all particle effects. YouTube has the ability to link to a specific point in the timeline of a video, so there could be links for each effect on the Wiki page. Also yeah, .gif's maybe are a bad idea, but I was more focusing on the question of should there be a demonstration video for unusual effects anyway. - Selbi 07:06, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
I don't think a video is really needed for this, the images are all that's really needed. It's a much better option for the user to use itemtest instead, as that way they can see what the effect looks like personally, and specify the hat to attach to. ~ Ath (talk) 10:44, 27 October 2011 (PDT)
Actually there's already a demonstration video present on the Particle effects article. I think it might be a good idea to add it to this article too. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 10:47, 27 October 2011 (PDT)

Something like this?
