Miss Pauling says that the robots run on money and that you can keep whatever drops. These monetary drops will be used to purchase upgrades to use during gameplay I suppose? The TF2 site in the MvM page it says "Take advantage of breaks between waves to upgrade your abilities and weapons." In the comic, Hale says that they'll still have to pay for the weapons, and I don't think Valve is so evil to make us pay to play this new game mode. But this is just speculation on my part, we'll see in the next two days. I'm aware I made this comment in the comic [[A Fate Worse Than Chess]] but it's most relevant here, I believe.
