I hadn't seen the In-Game Localization Files page until now. Do you have to be a "native speaker" to help out with the Spanish pages? I am not a "native speaker", but I do know how to speak Spanish. Rolandius 19:15, 6 August 2011 (PDT)

*Spanish does not need to be your first language, however a good grasp of the language is essential and vital if translation are to be made. I would recommend that if you want to work on articles in the Spanish section of the wiki that you read the guidelines we have for all the translating team in here. If you have any further concerns or queries please feel free to ask.  <small style="background:#f6f6f6;border:1px solid #006666;padding:0em  0.5em;color:#000;-webkit-box-shadow:2px 1px 1px #006666;">BiBi</small> 01:09, 7 August 2011 (PDT)

Backpack or Mochila

Are we using the word Backpack or Mochila? Half of the page uses Backpack and the other half uses mochila. Rolandius 07:03, 6 August 2011 (PDT)

 • The word that should be used is Mochila as it is shown in the In-Game Localization Files Should you see Backpack being used across any Spanish article please feel free to change it to Mochila at your convenience. The localization file shows all the names which are being used in-game. Our rule of thumb here is "If it is not translated in the localization files, then leave the English name on the article until Valve include the translated words supplied by STS". Hope this response helps. BiBi 07:17, 6 August 2011 (PDT)
