At the top of the page, it specified "Trivia notes: The Old Guadalajara does not imply Pyro's nationality". Your trivia was exactly this.

I don't think it was. "Many players misinterpreted this as a hint towards the pyro being mexican" doesn't really sound like implying the pyros nationality to me. If anything i thought i was doing the exact opposite, but i won't argue.
Ah, I thought it said "interpreted", either way, we don't have trivia like this. It's not relevant to the item itself but rather about the community. And you can argue for your edits, it's not a bad thing as long as you keep it civil and have respect.
