  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.

Teufort foundation story

Thank you for your contribution, but it is misplaced. Your contribution is not Trivia, but it is background or storyline, and so it should not be put in this article's Trivia section. Such content should be put in a place for provided for background or storyline, but only if it is not repeating what is there already. Since Teufort is a town distinct from the 2 Fort game map, background or descriptions specific to Tuefort should be put in the Teufort (City) article, not in the 2 Fort article. Storyline contributions should be put in the Storyline article. Content about NPCs like the much-discussed Claude Huggins should be contributed under Claude Huggins' NPC section. Whoopsie! Thanks for noting this, i'll go and fix it. Makzu (talk) 04:27, 27 May 2014 (PDT)
That is how you do it, no revert and three extra contributions to your credit. :). Thank you for staying away from the fart business. I may edit it a bit, the librarian's authorship does not necessarily mean it is anymore questionable than anything else in the storyline. The Foundation story seems to be accepted or at least tolerated as canon, at least within the wiki. There is the statue in the town square after all. Claude Hugging may be something of a running joke in Valve games. Mikado282 (talk) 11:18, 27 May 2014 (PDT)
Thanks mate. People like you are the best. I hope you get a wiki cap as you deserve it.
About the second sentence, "However, this information may not be true, as the story was written by a librarian.". I would like you to consider that there is nothing about a librarian that suggests a story may be untrue; rather, one would tend to assume that a librarian would have an advantage at researching and writing accurate histories. I don't think anything in the comic is meant to suggest that the reader interpret the story as false, at least the part about Claude Huggins being a lone survivor. I suggest you replace the second sentence with a leading clause to the first sentence, "According to local publication, ..." Mikado282 (talk) 21:08, 28 May 2014 (PDT)

Holiday Punch

What you said about the Holiday Punch is only true in regard to idle or achievement servers. Yeah, TidB is right that it is not a strategy -- I add that it is more of a courtesy convention, but only true in a limited context. Idlers have used the Holiday Punch in tickle fights. Look me up online sometime and we will try it. I don't write strategies, but I think the only strategy for the Holiday Punch would make use of the immobilizing stun - certainly the laughter is long enough to finish the opponent off with fists or the Showdown in relative safety.
