Hello

Hello, I've added you to steam. I work in the pt-br pages on this wiki as well. If you wish to talk to me, send me a message when I'm online (or offline as an offline message). Gabrielwoj (talk) 12:56, 6 May 2014 (PDT)

HLMV

Hello, here is a link for the HLMV tutorial, as you stated that your "Steam Load Model" does not work (just like mine): [Pastebin] (content inside is written in Brazilian Portuguese). Few more things to remember, try using the biggest resolution you have in your Monitor. And finally, if you're doing paint previews, be sure to check the Consistency and Rotations that usually the items has, you can look at Rotations page to see the information. To apply ROT and TRANS, you must open regedit.exe (Windows + R -> type "regedit"). Go at: HKEY_CURRENT_USER->Software->Valve->hlmv. You can look the path from the models you've loaded over there. Click one of the paths and look at the right. You may see lots of content, but what it more matters is ROT and TRANS (lightrot is recommended to kept default [(0.000000 180.000000 0.000000)]). Click two times in rot or trans, you can now change the values. You can see the values on the rotations page I just sent. It's good to always keep the angles the same as other paint pictures (or Skin Colors in the Infobox), so the pages doesn't differ from each other. You may see some items (mostly Shirt Items) without having some polygons on the model (Head, Arms, Hands...) because it's unnecessary to show. Any item with the "Note:" on the left may have something to download. You put those files in "custom", just like you put your tf2 custom files, and press "F5" on HLMV to remove some polygons.

Few notes: After you apply the rot and trans, you have to restart your HLMV. But putting the materials on custom folder, or changing anything else related to materials, you can press F5 normally. However, pressing F5 will reset your Facial Flex entirely and your animation frame, be sure to print screen the program with the "Flex" opened, so it can be easily done again.
To be able to open regedit and edit, you must be an administrator.

It's important to put the lighrot in the regedit if the value is on the Rotations page, even though I said about it's not recommended to edit the lightrot. For example, the Tyurtlenek, Siberian Sophisticate and Bolshevik Biker has all the same lighrots, but other shirt items may have other lighting values. Look at this image: [Image (IMGUR)] - You can look that the angles on each item are the same, but only differs the item model itself. I had to "unzoom" some of these because they weren't fitting on my HLMV window (as you can see the "trans" changing). This is pretty important while doing paint images or infobox images. This also remembers me a thing. Every image in every paint variant (or red or blu color) needs to have the same angle and lighting, nothing can be changed after each process, this is really important! Look for other pages for examples, pages like Tipped Lid or Hornblower are examples.

If you need help, ask me on Steam or here. Thanks User Gabrielwoj Signature 1.pngUser Gabrielwoj Signature 2.png - User Gabrielwoj Signature 3.png 12:59, 31 July 2014 (PDT)
