Localization Joke

This is a gag about the frequent language file updates released by Valve.

Starting with the Jan 17th 2012 patch, the release notes no longer document localization file updates with the typical description "Updated the localization files" or "Updated localization files".

Instead, the release notes now document localization file updates using the often cryptic or obfuscated methods listed:

January 17, 2012 Patch

• "Did not update the localization files"

January 26, 2012 Patch

• "Undocumented changes: Updated all localization files"

February 9, 2012 Patch

• "Lokalisierungsdateien aktualisiert" --- German for "Updated localization files".

February 14, 2012 Patch

• "Hcqngrq gur ybpnyvmngvba svyrf" --- The text "Updated the localization files" using the ROT13 substitution cipher.
