This page serves as a comprehensive reference for assessing the notability of Custom maps on the Team Fortress Wiki. Please read the full guidelines for more detailed information.

Glossary:

Patched / Added : Content added to the game by Valve through updates.

Official : Maps developed by Valve and officially added through updates.

Community : Maps created by the community and added via official updates that were not developed by Valve.

Custom : Maps created by the community but not yet officially added to the game by Valve.

Notability criteria:

Notability basis:  For and  Against notability.

Assessment: The outcome of the assessment with a link to the discussion as needed.

Alpen Mesaworks Final Destination 2015 Wubwubwub	Unknown notability		2014-2015 postings with no stated notability. Generally posted and/or maintained by only one editor, Dr. Scaphandre, but other ranking editors are also recorded as making edits to these pages (e.g., TidB, Tark, Darkid ).
"Ancient" custom map pages with no stated notability (except possibly they may be competitive):
Antiquity 2011 Cashworks Convoy 2010 Cranetop Dusk Furnace Creek Hunted (custom map) Meridian Stoneyridge	Cashworks  Convoy  No evidence of notability for the rest		Mostly carried over from TF2 Wiki. Each was posted and/or maintained by one or more respected early editors, but only to 2011 at the latest. Unknown whether any were Competitive. Convoy was popular and retains interest and is referenced in discussions of Helltrain. Cashworks was added to the game in 2023.
