When does this give an item?

Does the Tour of Duty Ticket give an item at the end of a successful game, or only upon completing all six missions on all three maps? Also, same question for the Squad Surplus Voucher? Will-T 23:01, 17 August 2012 (PDT)

First off, this is for discussion of the item's page, not discussion of the item itself. Please keep comments such as this on the forums. Now since you asked, I will answer your question. The Tour of Duty Ticket allows a player to play on a Mann Co server. Upon successfully completing a mission on said server the ticket is removed from your backpack and the player receives a special item. If someone in the group used a voucher before the match, then an additional item shall be awarded. Up to six additional items can be earned from one game. The page says you need to complete a tour of duty (6 missions), implying that you need six tickets. So, is it one ticket, or six? Please update the page with the correct information. --AileTheAlien 08:33, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
AlieTheAlien is correct; the reason I was asking is because the page is inconsistent with information that is available elsewhere. Can it be clarified please? Will-T 11:23, 18 August 2012 (PDT)
Finally had a successful Mann Up run, so I've answered my own question through experience. I've fixed the page to be more clearly worded. Will-T 14:44, 18 August 2012 (PDT)

Which items does this give?

Could someone update the page with the list of items which this ticket gives? I suspect that it is Botkiller Weapons, but I have not used one of these yet, and so do not know for sure. --AileTheAlien 08:12, 18 August 2012 (PDT)

The drops for this and the Squad Surplus Voucher are normal drops, just extra compared to the normal drop rate. Only once you complete an entire tour (6 missions), do you get a rare drop (usually a botkiller weapon). --Itsacon 05:12, 28 August 2012 (PDT)
Prior to the September 4th patch, completing all 6 missions in a tour would reward the user with a botkiller item (for completing the tour) and a normal item (for the mann up ticket), both of which would have an item level equal to the number of tours completed. While the botkillers still use the badge level for determining level, the 'normal' weapon drops now have their standard levels. As a result, there are now some interesting items floating around, like a level 16 Original (normally limited to level 5) and a level 14 Flare Gun (normally level 10). This badge-based numbering did not affect items granted via surplus vouchers, only the admission ticket. --Dieselmachine 17:57, 12 September 2012 (PDT)

Do tickets drop?

Someone mentioned that these drop but are as rare as name and description tags. Obviously it is not like valve to make stuff you have to buy drop, but I'll ask anyway. Do mann up tickets actually drop? ErroR 04:12, 25 September 2012 (PDT)

Multiple items with two ticket purchases?

If I am reading the article correctly, one could simply purchase a second Tour of Duty Ticket and play the same mission he/she has already completed as many times as he/she wants, receiving an item with each completion while still retaining the Tour of Duty Ticket. Is this correct?

No, you do not get items from completing a mission you have already completed in that particular tour. The only way you can get items from it is if someone uses a surplus voucher. You only get a mission drop when a tour of duty ticket is consumed. Emrfish6 (talk) 14:55, 6 October 2013 (PDT)

Craftable and Uncraftable Tickets?

On trade sites, there is a price for tickets that are craftable and uncraftable, is there anything to this?Archeodemon (talk) 16:54, 30 December 2013 (PST)

It seems that the ones that were given out for free at Christmas are craftable, while the normal ones bought in the store are not. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 16:59, 30 December 2013 (PST)

I think the page should mention about the "Botkiller", "Australium", "Robot Parts" and "Killstreak Kits" as rewards.

Hi. The page now only mentions about earning a normal Drop item, and one robot-themed cosmetic item. However, there's also the other types of items, those being Botkillers, Australiums, Robot Parts and Killstreak Kits. I don't know how these should be on the page, as some of these are "Tour-specific". Something like this?

Difference between completing a regular mission and a Tour of Duty.

So, I don't really play Mann Up so I'm not 100% sure, and I know I was the guy who suggested the addition of the drops (as seen on the topic above), however, I think Botkillers and Australiums are only awarded when you complete the entire tour (how does that work, I don't know, I think there must be a mission tracker that tells which missions are completed or not).
I think there should be a mention (with a link to Tour of Duty) for drops that are only available through completing the an entire tour.
I'm also not sure of the Robotic Cosmetic Items, are they rewarded by a random drop on Mann Up, regardless of your Tour's progress? User Gabrielwoj Signature Icon.png - User Gabrielwoj Signature 1.pngUser Gabrielwoj Signature 2.png - User Gabrielwoj Signature 3.png 02:39, 18 November 2019 (UTC)

Robotic Boogaloo? Uncrate #58 or Unlocked Cosmetic Crate? They don't ever drop, now? M I K A D O 🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃🦃 🦃🦃 🦃🦃 (talk) (Help Wanted!) 03:29, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
