Fizzle

The time until fizzle has been increased by two seconds. The description (can only place practically 3-5 bombs) should now read (can place 6 bombs at once but only temporarily.) Thank you. Hayzze (talk) 16:45, 15 January 2016 (PST)

It's hard to place all 6 and detonate them just in time, based on the real gameplay. 5 is the maximum possibility that most players can do. Some can do 6 but mostly the 6 one will be airburst instead of trap. That's the reason I reverted that edit. The previous description read: You can only place 3-5 bombs. The time that the stickies remain has been doubled since then, and no change was made to the previous description. I have actually tried it myself, and you literally have to detonate sticky no.6 as soon as it primes.
I just checked the function times for the Quickiebomb launcher. It says 0.6 sec fire speed, and approx 0.5 sec bomb arm time. That means all six stickies can be shot in 3 seconds, and the final sticky will prime at the 3.5 second mark, giving the user half a second to detonate all the bombs. :) And this can be done with all 6 stickies on the ground.
I just realized the previous description must have been wrong because you could only shoot 3 stickies and detonate the trap previously.
An exception to the fizzle rule is if the stickies are airborne. If you somehow manage to keep the stickies airborne, you could theoretically detonate an infinite number of stickies in an airborne sticky attack. This also works on maps such as nucleus and high tower, you could have 20 bombs in a single trap. (in this case with the glitch, the 20 stickies will basically be on the ground but are counted as airborne)Hayzze (talk) 19:34, 15 January 2016 (PST)
Not every players place stickies in quick section and not everyone place all 6 at short range. The fact you said are true, but my point is they are really situation and cannot be done all the time. 6 stickies at a time is possible, but not every maps has moving platform and not every people play in short range sticky trap style. Also, please merge everything you want to say in single comment. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 20:12, 15 January 2016 (PST)

Balanced

In my opinion, I think the quickiebomb launcher is fair and balanced as I use it when my primary's clip is empty. Though it may not help me in that situation but i use it anyways. It is also quicker to do sticky jumps instead of waiting for the stock's bomb to be able to detonate. Tell me what you all think about this weapon. Balanced or unbalanced and why? TTheenderr (talk) 10:18, 4 February 2016 (PST)

The weapon is balanced, but we don't discuss weapon balance opinions on the Wiki. We just give the stats and facts on a page, not opinions. If you want to discuss it more, I recommend doing so on the IRC. --User Dr. Scaphandre Golden Ghastly Gibus.png Dr. Scaphandre 12:49, 4 February 2016 (PST)
This sort of discussion is not meant for the talk pages on the wiki. If you wish to discuss this, you can bring up in the Steam forums or the TF2 subreddit. Discussion page is mainly for content on article. — The preceding assigned comment was added by Tark {Finish Him!Contribs} 12:55, 4 February 2016 (PST)
Oh ok, My chromebook blocks Steam and reddit and does not support any IRC. TTheenderr (talk) 13:01, 4 February 2016 (PST)
