Does anyone notice that Emerald Jarate translate to "green urine"?

Does anyone notice that Emerald Jarate translate to "green urine"?--Bigbangbilly 17:59, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

I'm not sure what you mean. --NobleSkull Killicon fire.png - talkies 'N' contribs 18:08, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

Emerald is a shade of green and Jarate is the urine based weapon for the Sniper. That was what I meant.--Bigbangbilly 18:11, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

That's not really a translation... have you noticed that Quick-Fix translates to "Speedy Repair"? =P

Sorry, I should have used the word "synonym" instead of translation.--Bigbangbilly 19:22, 28 October 2011 (PDT)

OK... so what does "Green Urine" mean? » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 04:23, 29 October 2011 (PDT)

Qucik fix

I dont have this item yet and I was wondering how it works if you have the quick fix on Ihasnotomato

It is merely asthetic and has no working effects toward any weapons. --NobleSkull Killicon fire.png - talkies 'N' contribs 07:16, 29 October 2011 (PDT)
I think he's wondering what happens if you equip both the quickfix and the emerald jarate aesthethically. Will they both be seen and clip horribly? or will one override the other? I'm curious myself. RedMage 07:18, 29 October 2011 (PDT)
In Itemtest they do both appear, but they don't clip too badly. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 14:58, 29 October 2011 (PDT)
Bump. Bug #1 (as of today) is no longer true, shall I remove it? Its7up (talk) 06:31, 22 September 2013 (PDT)

Reference to Meet the Medic Outtakes?

Does anyone else think the Emerald Jarate is from the outtakes of Meet the Medic, Kill Me! It's where Demoman tips over that shelf... jarate and some other stuff get mixed. Sokair 12:59, 30 October 2011 (PDT)

Most likely that or a reference to the glowing green Re-Agent from Herbert West: Re-Animator. Sorry I put the Trivia in the wrong place earlier.

Beakers of glowing green liquid are clichéd in loads of fiction. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 05:35, 1 November 2011 (PDT)

Team colored previews?

Since the new Medic logo on the backpack has a RED Team and BLU Team variant, should the infobox have the RED and BLU previews? Masterlegodude 03:20, 2 November 2011 (PDT)

Yes, it should Balladofwindfishes 06:05, 2 November 2011 (PDT)

Jigglebones

just wondering if this item has them.maybe the antennae or the liquids? Mpnov 23:17, 3 November 2011 (PDT)

Both the liquid and the antennae have jigglebones, I just checked. Balladofwindfishes 18:01, 4 November 2011 (PDT)
Thanks for the reply. I think I'll add them to jiggleboned list now Mpnov 18:38, 4 November 2011 (PDT)

Quick-Fix Backpack Images

Necessary? I think it would be nice to have images in the gallery of the quick-fix backpack with the Emerald Jarate. --User Firestorm Flame.png Firestorm 19:20, 10 December 2011 (PST)

I think this is something a lot of people might wonder what it looks like. I think an image would be useful, if not just to show off the clipping and how minor it is (compared to what it seems like it should be). Balladofwindfishes 19:30, 10 December 2011 (PST)

"Paintable" with No Previews

The sidebar says that the Emerald Jarate is paintable, yet with the size of the page, there are no alternative color previews alluding to this fact. Does no one actually have renders for the alternative paint jobs, or is the page erroneous and the item actually unable to be painted? — Gregorius (talk) 00:48, 23 January 2014 (PST)

I'm pretty sure it's not paintable like another 2011 Halloween items. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 04:46, 23 January 2014 (PST)
Yeah, the item isn't paintable. I've fixed this, along with what should be all of the other pages that list items as paintable when they aren't. Thanks for bringing this up. --Omolong (talk) 07:48, 23 January 2014 (PST)
