Talk:Box Trot

Name origin?

From the page Trotskyism, in Wikipedia: "In contemporary English language usage, an advocate of Trotsky's ideas is often called a "Trotskyist"; a Trotskyist can be called a "Trotskyite" or "Trot" (...)".

Given that both of the other two taunts have some kind of relation to Soviet communism (Proletariat Posedown, and the Kazotsky Kick being a stereotypical Soviet dance), it's safe to assume that this taunt would also hold a reference, in this case the name alluding to the ideology of Leon Trotsky, a Russian communist thinker.

Is this a sure enough conclusion to be added to the Trivia section? --Technoguyx (talk) 08:08, 29 November 2015 (PST)

Not really. The "trot" the taunt is talking about is a small walk, like from a horse. It's not really trivia. I will give you credit for the research though, and also thank you for checking first. --User Dr. Scaphandre Golden Ghastly Gibus.png Dr. Scaphandre 09:06, 29 November 2015 (PST)
