Home Run Taunt
Hello Fuzzeh!, I saw the revert you made on the Home Run taunt. I added that bit of information because of a video I saw here. Skip over to 4:52, and it'll show a scout deflecting a rocket with a Sandman. This is the first I've seen this, but I believe it to be real. DC64 (talk) 15:37, 5 August 2014 (PDT)
- If you watch closely you will see that pyro reflect rocket (at right side). And link Pepsone (talk) 15:48, 5 August 2014 (PDT)
GIMP Background Removal Process
Here is the video with the process:
Few things to know
At 0:14 (after clicking the layer), I pressed Control+X to remove the background;
At 0:18, I hold Control and use the Scroll (on the Mouse) to zoom the image;
At 0:17-0:21 I hold Shift and left click to choose more areas;
At 0:26 (after I created the path), I double clicked to select the path;
At 0:31, I selected the Free Select Tool and started to hold Control, and then clicked to "unselect" important areas (this is an important step, as some stuff will become more round after the anti-alias is applied.);
At 0:39 I pressed Control+X once again.
Other Notes
Select the Fuzzy Select Tool and click "Feather Edges", keep Feather Edges value as 2.0, and "Threshold" value as 0.0.
[Threshold can be located below the "Sample Merged"].
What those steps do?
0:00-0:16 -> Background removal, this is important to remove backgrounds from any area and as well backgrounds from reflective sources (like Glasses);
0:17-0:40 -> Anti-alias process, this is important to have the image lookin' good, without it, the image will have gray borders or simply no anti-alias at all;
0:41-0:54 -> Cropping, this is important to not use too much space on a page, and making the image "smaller" on the gallery, always crop your images!
Monitor Size
The bigger the images, the better. If you're able to use a monitor with a big resolution (px), use it.
