The Soldier of Fortune is a Miscellaneous medal wearable by all classes awarded by Valve to the Team Fortress 2 community as part of their 119th Update Celebration. It appears as a rectangular silver medal worn on the class's chest, not unlike the Gentle Manne's Service Medal. The Soldier of Fortune is awarded to players who purchased and played Team Fortress 2 three months to a year after its initial release.

- "Soldier of Fortune" is another term for a mercenary. All characters in Team Fortress 2 are mercenaries that fight for BLU or RED.
