I am big war hero!
The Heavy on being bigger than a mercenary

The Soldier of Fortune is a Miscellaneous medal wearable by all classes awarded by Valve to the Team Fortress 2 community as part of their 119th Update Celebration. It appears as a rectangular silver medal worn on the class's chest, not unlike the Gentle Manne's Service Medal. The Soldier of Fortune is awarded to players who purchased and played Team Fortress 2 three months to a year after its initial release.

The item description was written by Optimus357 for the Hat Describing Contest.
