The Operation Gear Grinder Badge is a cosmetic item for all classes. It is earned by completing your first mission of the "Operation Gear Grinder" Tour of Duty in Mann Up mode. It tracks a player's progress through the various Mann vs. Machine missions. The badge's level will increase based on the amount of times you've completed the challenges in Mann Up mode (level 100 requires completion of 297 missions).

Update history
- [Undocumented] Added the Operation Oil Spill Badge and the Operation Gear Grinder Badge.
Bugs
- The model occasionally has problems rendering the translucent effects, causing only the center area to appear, while all the rest appears invisible.
Trivia
- Inspiration for design of the Operation Gear Grinder Badge appears to be taken from the Reichsadler of the Third German Reich. Both swastika and wreath that the eagle is holding on the coat of arms are replaced by the bomb on the in-game model, while the head is rotated by 90 degrees to clockwise and wings are raised by also 90 degrees.
