The Kringle Collection is a community-created cosmetic item for the Soldier. It turns Soldier's military coat into an overcoat by adding fur around its sleeves and collar, loose tassels and a square-buckled belt. The overcoat resembles one worn by Santa Claus.
The Kringle Collection was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Winter Coat".
Update history
December 15, 2011 Patch (Australian Christmas 2011)
- The Kringle Collection was added to the game.
- The Kringle Collection is now droppable, purchasable, and craftable.
- The equip region was changed from "shirt" to "soldier_coat", so it can now be equipped along side the Fancy Dress Uniform.
July 7, 2016 Patch #1 (Meet Your Match Update)
- Added Strange quality.
Unused content
- The Kringle Collection is set up for paint, but the item is not currently paintable.
Trivia
- Both name and description of the item refer to Kris Kringle, an American nickname for Santa Claus.
- This item originally added fur around Soldier's pants, but it was removed by Valve before it was added into the game.
