The Killer Exclusive is a community-created promotional cosmetic item for all classes. It is an old-fashioned brown journalist's fedora with a card saying 'PRESS' stuck in the rim.
This item is awarded in Genuine quality to players who purchase and redeem the code included in PC Gamer issue 232 (UK)[1]. It was also possible to receive it by purchasing PC Gamer Digital Episode 1 via Steam. All of the PC Gamer Digital "Episodes" were removed from the Steam Store during an unknown date and can no longer be purchased.
The Killer Exclusive was later contributed to the Steam Workshop, at Valve's request.
