The Herzensbrecher is a community-created cosmetic item for the Medic. It adds a glowing team-colored heart in a dome on the Medic's chest, and is connected by tubes to a set of glowing vials on the front and back of the Medic's belt and to a backpack hidden by the Medic's default backpack. It also adds a belt buckle with the Medic's emblem on it.
This item can only be worn around Halloween or during a Full Moon; at other times of the year, it does not appear in gameplay, unless the server has Halloween mode enabled. However, it can be equipped at any time and can still be viewed on the loadout screen even when it is not visible during games.
The Herzensbrecher was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
