They got a bomb!
The Soldier

The Electric Badge-aloo is a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. It is a bomb with wings wearing a glowing team-colored monocle, cane, and top hat.

This item was awarded to contributors to the Robotic Boogaloo update, similar to the Invasion Community Update Medal and End of the Line Community Update Medal.

The Electric Badge-aloo was contributed to the Steam Workshop.

Update history

May 17, 2013 Patch (Robotic Boogaloo)

  • The Electric Badge-aloo was added to the game.

Trivia

  • Much like the name of the update itself, the item's name is a reference to the movie Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. It gained notoriety for being poorly reviewed by critics and as a box office flop compared to its successful predecessor the year before. The term "boogaloo" has entered the pop-culture lexicon as a pejorative nickname for unnecessary and unwanted sequels.
