We have commandeered my point!
The Soldier conquering a point

The Conquistador is a community-created headwear item for the Soldier. It is a Template:W typically worn by Spanish Template:Ws.

The hat which was loosely based on a Conquistador hat featured in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, was originally designed for the Demoman class. Due to the hat's ill-fit with the default Demoman's hat, the Soldier class was eventually chosen owing to the Soldier's adventurous and up-front position in battle and the similarity of his nature with the definition of Conquistadors.

The Conquistador was contributed to the game via the Steam Workshop, under the name "Morium".
