— The Demoman on his feathered friend
|
” |
The Bird-Man of Aberdeen is a community-created cosmetic item item for the Demoman. It is a large green and yellow macaw that sits on the Demoman's shoulder and wobbles around under movement.
The Bird-Man of Aberdeen has three unique styles. The second style, "Distinguished", colors the bird white, resembling a cockatoo, while "Imbued", the third style, changes the belly feathers to a dull green. When painted, "Distinguished" bleeds the entire bird the same color, aside from the tail- and head-feathers, and "Imbued" colors the belly feathers duller than that of the rest of the bird's feathers.
When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist, with its custom name if it has one.
The Bird-Man of Aberdeen was contributed to the Steam Workshop under the name "Some spare eyes".
It can be strangified using a strangifier.
