Killstreak Kit Fabricators are tools similar to Chemistry Sets, which create a Specialized or Professional Killstreak Kit. Requiring a recipe be completed, the resulting Killstreak Kit will be for a specific weapon; depending on the level, this will carry a specific sheen and/or particle effect that can be viewed by inspecting the Fabricator in the backpack. Currently, the only way to obtain Fabricators is by random drop upon completing a full tour of the Two Cities Update maps: Mannhattan and Rottenburg.
Specialized Killstreak Kit Fabricator
Specialized Killstreak Kit Fabricators have an output of a Specialized Killstreak Kit, which adds a kill counter as well as a colored sheen that intensifies as streaks increase. Specialized Fabricators require a randomized combination of the following recipe:
- Any Unique (Level 1) Killstreak weapon
- 24 random battle-worn robot parts
- 5 random reinforced robot parts
Upon completion, a Specialized Killstreak Kit will be created to apply to the specified weapon.
Professional Killstreak Kit Fabricator
Professional Killstreak Kit Fabricators, acting as the final level, add particle effects to the user's eyes (similarly to the Eyelander) that also intensifies with kills. Professional Fabricators require a more extensive set of requirements:
- Two Unique Specialized (Level 2) Killstreak weapons
- 16 random battle-worn robot parts
- 6 random reinforced robot parts
- 3 random pristine robot parts
Upon completion, a Professional Killstreak Kit will be created to apply to the specified weapon.
Upon combining the recipes required to reach a Professional Killstreak weapon, the total cost to create a Level 3 Killstreak weapon from scratch requires:
- Two killstreak kits and their matching unique weapons
- Two specialized killstreak kit fabricators and their matching unique weapons
- One professional killstreak kit fabricator and its matching weapon (which doesn't have to be unique)
- 64 battle-worn robot parts
- 16 reinforced robot parts
- 3 pristine robot parts
